What’s On Offer For The Stag Day?

Any time of year the most popular stag day by far is a Yacht- Rib combo. This caters for up to 14 participants, 7 on the yacht and 7 on the High Speed RIB. You get to sail on a fantastic 36ft Beneteau Oceanis yacht and a high speed 8 metre Rib. The Group rotates activities - meeting up together for lunch.

How Does The Stag Day Combo Work?

You join your 36ft luxury yacht & RIB in Gosport at 0900 sharp. Your hand-picked skippers will start you off with a short safety briefing then you’re off. Together you will choose where you sail, maybe it’s Chichester natural harbour or perhaps you are going to sail to Cowes and lunch at the world famous Folly’s Inn. Maybe you will choose Beaulieu river, or sail around the historic warships Victory and Warrior. The day then begins in earnest.

Is This A Fun Stag Day?

Yes yes and yes. But we would say that though wouldn’t we! On the yacht you can relax totally, chill out, and let the skipper literally do it all for you – even serve your drinks. Or you and your group can be fully involved - helming, trimming the sails, navigating. You can even have a go at anchoring or mooring. If any of your group are already seasoned sailors, your experienced Yachtmaster skipper will be glad to give instruction as you sail. But absolutely no experience is necessary.

On the RIB The adrenaline rush kicks in as your two high power engines take you to speeds in excess of 40 knots. Everyone gets to have a go at helming –treasure hunting or racing round the cans.

All Change For Lunch

At lunchtime the two groups meet up for lunch. Lunch is an important part of your stag day and you want to be together. The yacht has an oven a cooker and a fridge, so if you want, you can bring your own lunch and eat it rafted up together at anchor in a stunning location. Or if you prefer, we can supply all your food and drink or you can do what many other guests do, have a wonderful lunch at the world famous Folly’s Inn on the river Medina.

After your lunch the groups swap activities. On the RIB go make some waves as you kick butt around the Solent. On the yacht have a leisurely sail – unwinding relaxing - or maybe even some informal racing around the cans, arriving back together in Gosport for around 17.00. A Special Stag Day. In fact it’s so good, like many others who have done this before you’ll probably be back for more!

Are There Any Extras I Can select?

To cap it all you can opt for the night-time package. This enables you to sail back with a sunset backdrop and maybe pour a beer or two. You will never forget this day. Sail during the sunset and subsequent hours of darkness. There is something utterly different, magical, sailing at night. The stars like you have never seen them and the vast display of navigation lights all around the Solent will make this event even more memorable.
